WILDERNESS SURVIVAL TRAINING: SNOW... DESERT... MOUNTAINEERING... OCEAN... RESCUE...
In ancient times people did not have luxuries such as motorized transportation, tents and sleeping bags. When travel was necessary it was done on foot or animal, which provided no protection from the elements or attackers. Since journeys were often long and rigorous, with many mountains, deserts and bodies of water to navigate, travelers had to understand how to survive in these different environments.
Bandits and thieves also roamed these lands making it necessary for travelers to develop camouflage and adapt their fighting skills to the different terrain. In order to preserve these skills, and to develop a true understanding of the martial arts and its relation to nature Jungyae Moosul students are taught to survive in many different environments.
